Bluberi is seeking a talented VFX Artist II to create high-impact, real-time visual effects for Unity-based slot games. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time visual effects using Unity (Shuriken, VFX Graph, shaders).
- Create effects for gameplay events such as wins, bonus triggers, and symbol interactions.
- Ensure visual clarity and readability while maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Collaborate with game designers and audio teams for cohesive player experiences.
- Develop and integrate VFX assets using tools like After Effects, Spine, and 3D software.
- Optimize effects for performance, memory usage, and platform constraints.
- Participate in cross-discipline collaboration with artists, developers, and technical teams.
- Iterate based on playtesting feedback and production milestones.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience creating real-time VFX for games or interactive media.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating gameplay-driven VFX and motion design.
- Proficiency in Unity or similar real-time engines.
- Experience with particle systems, shaders, and materials.
- Knowledge of animation principles, timing, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Spine, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced VFX tools like Houdini, Embergen, or Shuriken.
- Familiarity with casino gaming or real-time entertainment products.
- Basic scripting knowledge (C#, Python, or similar).
