Job Overview
Arrow International is seeking a talented Animator to join its Visual Development Team within the Gaming Studio in Las Vegas. This full-time, on-site role focuses on creating high-quality motion graphics and animations for engaging slot game experiences.
The ideal candidate combines artistic creativity with technical expertise, bringing strong animation principles, real-time optimization skills, and experience with 2D rigging tools such as Spine.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, animate, and polish dynamic visuals and motion graphics for slot games.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, producers, and engineers to ensure smooth animation integration across the game pipeline.
- Create expressive character animations and UI animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Develop concept mockups and motion tests to visually communicate creative ideas.
- Prepare assets and textures using Adobe Photoshop to support art production.
- Assist with particle systems, visual effects, and animation implementation in Unity.
- Contribute creative problem-solving solutions to artistic and gameplay challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Art, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent experience in slot gaming.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in animation or motion graphics.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, weight, and visual storytelling.
- High proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
- Strong sense of composition, rhythm, and visual appeal.
- Experience optimizing animations for real-time rendering environments.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Spine, Blender, or Maya.
- Knowledge of Unity3D and particle systems.
- Shader animation workflows and performance optimization.
- Understanding of casino or gambling-related gaming industries.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Animation, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience in slot gaming or game animation may be considered.
