About the Role
Olgoonik is seeking a skilled Animator to support the Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA) by delivering high-quality video production support. In this role, you will create engaging animations, motion graphics, and visual effects that communicate complex scientific discoveries and research to a broad audience.
This position plays a key role in developing visual storytelling for video productions, web platforms, and social media content. The role is contingent upon contract award.
Job Overview
- Develop creative animations and motion graphics for video and multimedia projects.
- Translate scientific research and discoveries into engaging visual content.
- Support video post-production with animation and graphics elements.
- Create visual effects for various video productions.
- Collaborate with producers and editors to integrate animation into final productions.
- Design original graphics and artwork using industry-standard tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D animations for video productions and digital platforms.
- Design motion graphics that visualize complex scientific concepts.
- Produce visual effects to enhance storytelling in video content.
- Develop original artwork and graphic assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Work closely with video producers and editors to integrate animation seamlessly.
- Support post-production workflows with animation and graphics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a motion graphics designer or animator.
- Strong expertise in 2D and 3D animation.
- Experience creating motion graphics and visual effects.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and 3D animation software.
- Ability to visualize complex concepts through creative design.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities are preferred.
Education
- Relevant education in animation, motion graphics, multimedia, or a related field is preferred.

- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and operate office equipment.
