The concept is a humorous take on a “Dear Abby”-style advice format, brought to life through engaging character animation and expressive storytelling.
This is a personal project with the potential for ongoing collaboration once a repeatable production template is developed.
Project Overview
- Create realistic 2D character models and full rigging for two main dogs: Frankie and Rufus.
- Animate a radio/talk show studio environment with hosting, conversation, and caller interactions.
- Handle expressive facial animation and lip sync using provided voiceovers.
- Deliver a polished 2-minute final render.
- Provide guidance for creating similar videos independently in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and rig realistic 2D dog characters based on provided images.
- Animate talk show scenes including dialogue, reactions, and performance nuances.
- Create and animate supporting “caller” dog characters.
- Synchronize lip movements accurately with supplied voiceover audio.
