Job Overview
- Work on a weekly video podcast, delivering visuals on tight deadlines
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual style for the show
- Create original assets, animations, and reusable templates
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and creative teams
- Ensure adherence to Vox’s editorial and visual standards
Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate visuals for weekly podcast episodes
- Collaborate with the Unexplainable team and Art Director
- Create graphics packages and motion templates
- Provide art direction and ensure visual clarity
- Maintain consistency with Vox style guidelines
- Support additional creative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in animation and graphic design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion design and storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro
- Experience in video editing and sourcing archival footage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment
- Ability to collaborate across teams
Education
No specific degree required; relevant experience and portfolio are key.
