Job Overview
The Associate 3D Artist will collaborate closely with 3D artists, technical artists, and cross-functional teams across marketing and user acquisition to create cinematic moments for performance-driven marketing content.
This role includes working across the full 3D production pipeline, supporting asset creation, cleanup, optimization, and visual bug fixing. The team also experiments with emerging technologies and AI-assisted creative tools to improve workflows and artistic production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new visual game components in collaboration with the art team.
- Render 3D assets and deliverables using Maya, Arnold, Blender, or similar software.
- Perform rigging, topology cleanup, and asset optimization.
- Manage assets through the complete 3D production pipeline.
- Integrate art assets into the game environment while maintaining proper naming conventions.
- Develop visually compelling marketing assets for user acquisition campaigns.
- Support interactive creative formats such as HTML playables.
- Explore and implement AI-enabled tools and workflows for art production.
- Collaborate effectively with artists, designers, and technical teams.
- Identify and resolve visual issues or bugs in art assets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Adobe Photoshop, and other digital content creation tools.
- Experience working with Unity or similar game development environments.
- Understanding of 3D asset pipelines including modeling, rigging, rendering, and optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools or a strong interest in integrating them into workflows.
- A strong portfolio showcasing 3D art and technical skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and adapt to evolving workflows.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and improving craft.
Education
A degree in 3D Art, Game Art, Animation, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated skills through a professional portfolio are highly valued.
