Job Overview
Truveta is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Motion Designer to join its innovative Design team. This highly collaborative individual contributor role is ideal for a hands-on creative professional with deep expertise in motion design, animation, and video production.
You will serve as the team’s motion expert, leading the creation of engaging marketing videos, animated website assets, social media content, and brand storytelling visuals that simplify complex healthcare and technology concepts.
Portfolio or reel submission is required, showcasing motion design and video projects, including both process and final execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the resident motion design expert within the Design team
- Own motion and video projects end-to-end — from concept and storyboarding to final delivery
- Create animated and illustrated assets supporting product marketing, campaigns, and launches
- Develop and maintain Truveta’s motion design system, templates, workflows, and asset libraries
- Produce short-form animated ads and social content across multiple formats and aspect ratios
- Edit and finish video content including screen capture, live-action, voiceover-driven, and motion-enhanced edits
- Support live video production such as talking head interviews and recorded events
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Communications, and Product teams
- Provide strategic creative input and recommend best practices to stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and AI innovations in motion design
- Support internal communications, events, and company initiatives
Key Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in motion graphics and video production, preferably in B2B or tech environments
- Minimum 2 years of in-house experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality animation and storytelling
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into compelling visual narratives
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and related tools
- Advanced knowledge of motion graphics, animation principles, and video editing workflows
- Experience with cinematography, lighting, audio capture, and interview production
- Familiarity with emerging motion tools and AI-driven creative platforms
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with executives and stakeholders
- High-level problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
- Authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, Visual Arts, Film, Television, Multimedia, Animation, or a related field is preferred.
