Internship Overview
Targeted Victory is seeking a Summer Intern, Motion Designer to support its fast-paced creative team in Arlington, VA. This internship is ideal for college students interested in creative work, motion graphics, public affairs, politics, consumer brands, and social media marketing.
Interns will collaborate with award-winning artists and strategists while gaining hands-on experience across digital platforms. Work assignments are tailored to align with interns’ professional interests and career goals.
Work Environment: In-person at the Arlington, VA office
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with award-winning artists and storytellers supporting political, corporate, and advocacy clients nationwide
- Assist with media management and asset cataloging
- Create and animate original motion graphics for social media, MMS text campaigns, GIFs, and other digital platforms
- Transform static designs and style frames into engaging mobile-first video content
- Work closely with graphic designers to develop high-impact, short-form video spots
- Participate in training, mentorship, and team-building activities
- Stay current with digital trends and emerging creative tools
Qualifications
- Strong interest in motion graphics, digital marketing, and creative storytelling
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Solid understanding of design fundamentals and visual storytelling
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
- Curiosity and willingness to grow within political and public affairs environments
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting where speed and efficiency are critical
Education Requirements
Currently enrolled college students pursuing a degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
