Job Overview
Inspired Gaming UK is hiring a Senior Graphic Artist (2D Artist/Animator) to create high-quality game artwork and animations for next-generation slot games. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in 2D animation, digital painting, and game asset production.
You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and the art team to bring engaging characters, symbols, and gameplay features to life while maintaining top-tier visual quality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D game assets aligned with gameplay and feature specifications.
- Design and animate characters, symbols, and VFX using Spine 2D and After Effects.
- Translate design concepts into expressive visuals that enhance gameplay and user experience.
- Ensure consistency with graphical style, UX guidelines, and creative direction.
- Support digital artists in producing polished digital paintings and game-ready assets.
- Create concept art and contribute to the game design process.
- Mentor junior artists and provide feedback on rigs, animations, and artwork.
- Ensure assets are optimized and suitable for in-game implementation.
- Maintain high production standards and meet deadlines effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a 2D Artist/Animator.
- Strong portfolio showcasing Spine animation, 2D character animation, VFX, and game art.
- Expertise in tools such as Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Spine.
- Strong foundation in traditional animation principles.
- Excellent digital painting, drawing, and illustration skills.
- Strong understanding of color, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Experience working in mobile or slot game development is highly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to meet production deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.
Education
No formal degree is required; strong portfolio and relevant industry experience are essential.
