Job Overview
AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join its Brand & Creative team. This role blends high-end motion design craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI-driven production techniques. You will define and execute the visual motion language across brand campaigns, product storytelling, and marketing assets while building scalable, AI-enhanced creative workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics for campaigns, product launches, social media, and executive presentations.
- Develop and implement scalable animation systems using AI tools and automation workflows.
- Define and evolve the company’s motion design language and brand identity.
- Collaborate with product designers to translate UI/UX designs into polished motion assets.
- Research and experiment with emerging creative technologies and AI tools.
- Build reusable motion templates, assets, and libraries to improve production efficiency.
- Translate complex business concepts into compelling visual narratives.
- Present new tools, workflows, and creative approaches to internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or related fields.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, timing, typography, and animation expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with product animation, especially SaaS and UI systems.
- Familiarity with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender (Houdini is a plus).
- Experience working with Figma and collaborating with product design teams.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools like Stable Diffusion, Runway, ComfyUI, or Midjourney.
- Ability to build automated workflows, templates, and scalable design systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-evolving tech environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Animation, Visual Effects, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
