Job Overview
Model ML is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to transform complex ideas into clear and compelling visual stories. This role will help define the brand’s motion language, bring product capabilities to life, and produce engaging visual content across marketing campaigns, product demos, and educational materials.
The Senior Motion Designer will collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Brand Designers, Product Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality motion content that strengthens the company’s visual identity and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Design engaging motion graphics, animations, and kinetic typography to enhance brand and product storytelling.
- Create high-quality video content for product demos, tutorials, explainer videos, and marketing campaigns.
- Edit and assemble footage into polished sequences with strong pacing, narrative structure, and visual clarity.
- Conceptualize and produce narrative-driven motion pieces for product launches and brand campaigns.
- Collaborate with product designers to develop in-product animations and micro-interactions.
- Build and maintain a scalable motion design system for both brand and product experiences.
- Work with leadership, marketing, sales, and product teams to translate business goals into compelling visual narratives.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, and video editing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, high-quality animation, and refined design skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to concept, storyboard, and execute both short-form and long-form motion content.
- Comfort working independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of motion design principles applied to product UX and user experience storytelling.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with 3D workflows using Cinema4D or Blender.
- Familiarity with in-product motion tools such as Lottie or Rive.
