Position Overview
Trulioo is hiring a Senior Product Designer to deliver scalable, high-quality product experiences across its identity verification platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on UX/UI designer who thrives in complex workflows and collaborates closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ship polished, implementation-ready solutions.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Vancouver, requiring three in-office days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design projects from discovery through implementation.
- Create structured user flows, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity UI designs across web and mobile platforms.
- Design complex multi-step workflows, including branching logic, compliance constraints, and failure states.
- Develop intuitive onboarding and verification experiences for enterprise SaaS environments.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams on scope, constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Present design rationale clearly and iterate based on constructive feedback.
- Apply and extend the design system using advanced Figma components, variants, and auto-layout.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG standards), scalability, and visual consistency.
- Leverage AI tools such as Figma Make and ChatGPT to accelerate ideation and iteration.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex workflows and enterprise digital products.
- Experience designing data-rich interfaces, dashboards, or SaaS platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and scalable component systems.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects within defined scope.
- Canadian work authorization and ability to work onsite in Vancouver (hybrid).
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, identity verification, compliance, or B2B SaaS.
- Experience designing internal tools and customer-facing platforms.
- Background contributing to design systems in scaling organizations.
- Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
- Comfort presenting work to cross-functional stakeholders.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
