Job Overview
Prolific is seeking experienced VFX Artists and 3D professionals to join as Subject Matter Experts for a high-level gaming and AI project. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to license existing assets and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven video generation systems.
Instead of traditional production work, contributors will provide pre-existing assets and support technical processing workflows on a flexible, ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities
- License existing 3D and VFX assets from personal or studio archives
- Prepare assets according to project specifications, including rendering and layering
- Perform technical processing such as compositing and file optimization
- Create variations of scenes and re-render when required
- Ensure assets are structured into compositable layers for AI training use
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional experience as a VFX Artist, 3D Artist, Technical Artist, or Compositor
- Proficiency in tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Houdini, Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D
- Strong knowledge of rendering, lighting, and texturing techniques
- Experience with technical pipelines and production workflows
- Availability of existing high-quality assets suitable for licensing
- Ability to organize scenes into structured, layered formats
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
