Role Overview
Tavus is seeking a product-minded Visual & Motion Designer to help define the visual systems and motion language behind AI-first products. This role plays a key part in designing immersive, interactive interfaces that power digital companions and intelligent agents.
You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and product teams to bring novel interaction paradigms to life — from concept through implementation — ensuring seamless and emotionally intelligent user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and scale a unified motion design language across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
- Define the kinetic identity and visual physics of Tavus’s AI “human layer.”
- Design seamless transitions between active, passive, and background AI states.
- Translate OS-level navigation and interaction concepts into intuitive UI patterns.
- Create structural UI frameworks including containers, sidebars, overlays, and video-based conversational interfaces.
- Design refined micro-interactions that feel responsive, premium, and intuitive.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement motion standards across modern web and native mobile frameworks.
- Explore and prototype new interaction concepts in ambiguous problem spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Product Design experience with strong specialization in Visual Systems and Motion Design.
- Proven experience shipping complex, interactive digital products.
- Strong cross-platform systems thinking across web, mobile, and desktop environments.
- Expertise in spatial UI, layered interfaces, floating elements, and dynamic states.
- Ability to design intuitive feedback systems and non-intrusive status indicators.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams for motion implementation.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Education
A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio will also be considered.
