About the Role
Authority Content is seeking a highly creative Senior Animator who thrives at the intersection of motion design, social-first storytelling, and AI-powered creativity. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands animation fundamentals but also knows how to create visually engaging, modern, and thumb-stopping content for digital platforms.
You will play a key role in building the motion language across non-fiction films, explainers, UI demos, micro-content, and AI-driven storytelling formats while experimenting with emerging tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
Motion Design & Animation
- Create high-quality 2D animations, motion graphics, kinetic typography, and UI motion.
- Develop modern, stylised, social-first animation aesthetics.
- Design visual systems from concept, storyboards to final animation.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ideate and execute compelling visual narratives.
New-Age Social Editing & Stylisation
- Create fast-paced edits for social platforms (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
- Use text overlays, rhythmic cuts, dynamic transitions, and mixed media.
- Experiment with split screens, beat-synced edits, and modern visual formats.
AI-Driven Motion & Video Stylization
- Leverage tools like Runway, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Kling, Pika, and Higgsfield.
- Develop AI-powered visual styles and workflows for storytelling and explainers.
Editing & Post-Production
- Lead motion projects across 2D, 2.5D, stock footage, and mixed media formats.
- Collaborate with editors to produce cohesive and engaging video outputs.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with editors, copywriters, creative producers, and AI specialists.
- Build reusable templates, transitions, LUTs, and design systems.
Trend Tracking & Innovation
- Stay updated on animation trends, social media aesthetics, and AI tools.
- Bring new ideas, references, and prototypes regularly to the team.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in motion design and animation principles.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and similar software.
- Experience with AI tools for content creation and video stylization.
- Strong understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Ability to conceptualize and execute visually compelling content.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimentation and innovation.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Design, Multimedia, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant portfolio demonstrating motion design and animation expertise is essential.
