Job Overview
The Technical Artist plays a key role bridging Art and Engineering teams. This role focuses on enhancing workflows, solving technical challenges, and ensuring high-quality asset creation and performance optimization across the game pipeline.
You will collaborate closely with artists and engineers to build scalable systems and tools that support the creation of visually stunning and performant game content.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical challenges impacting art production and game systems.
- Develop and optimize asset creation workflows for efficient content production.
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to deliver high-quality game features.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to art teams.
- Optimize game assets for performance and scalability across platforms.
- Ensure reliability and quality of game systems and pipelines.
- Work across multiple departments to support feature development.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Artist with shipped game titles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both artistic and technical expertise.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine, Maya, or 3DS Max.
- Experience with scripting languages such as C++, Python, or MEL.
- Solid understanding of shaders, lighting, and rendering techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
- Passion for game development and high-quality visual experiences.
