Job Overview
ZeniMax Media is seeking a talented Animator specializing in first-person animation to join Bethesda Game Studios. The role involves creating high-quality hand-keyed animations for gameplay and cinematic content while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary development teams.
Candidates may be considered for multiple studio locations including Rockville, Austin, Dallas, and Montreal.
Responsibilities
- Create polished hand-keyed animations using strong animation principles.
- Implement revisions and adjustments based on artistic and gameplay direction.
- Collaborate with designers, programmers, and cinematic teams on gameplay animation needs.
- Maintain and integrate animation assets into the game pipeline.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to fellow animators.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external development teams.
- Ensure animation quality meets production and gameplay standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of animation principles and character movement.
- Excellent attention to detail and passion for high-quality animation.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
- Experience with problem-solving and rapid prototyping.
- Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for video games and interactive storytelling.
Education
College education or guided training focused on 3D animation is preferred.
