Handshake is seeking experienced Game Artists and AI Trainers with expertise in pixel art, sprite creation, and 2D game asset workflows. This flexible contract opportunity supports AI research by evaluating AI-generated game art content and helping improve AI understanding of real-world game development processes.
Job Overview
In this remote contract role, you will leverage your experience with tools such as Defold, Solar2D, MonoGame, libGDX, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, and PyCharm to review AI-generated responses, create workflow-related questions, and provide feedback on game art quality and accuracy. This is a project-based opportunity designed for flexibility alongside freelance, professional, or personal work.
Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate AI-related tasks focused on pixel art and game asset workflows.
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, quality, and stylistic consistency.
- Provide feedback based on real-world game art production standards.
- Create questions and prompts related to 2D game asset creation workflows.
- Assist AI research teams in improving understanding of visual and creative tasks.
- Follow written project guidelines and maintain high attention to detail.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Defold, Solar2D, MonoGame, libGDX, Panda3D, Cocos2d-x, and/or PyCharm.
- Strong knowledge of pixel art, sprite creation, and 2D game asset design workflows.
- Experience reviewing or creating game assets following style guides or project briefs.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and consistency in reviewing creative content.
