Job Overview

The Video Editor will work closely with lead editors, retention specialists, and other editors to shape compelling digital content. The position requires strong editing skills, creative decision-making, effective time management, and the ability to continuously improve video quality and audience retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Video Editing: Edit and produce high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant editing tools.
  • Audience Retention: Apply feedback from lead editors and retention specialists to improve pacing, structure, and viewer engagement.
  • Creative Storytelling: Make creative decisions involving animation, music, reactions, visual elements, sound, and overall video structure.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other editors to exchange knowledge, strengthen editing techniques, and improve production workflows.
  • Production Efficiency: Manage deadlines effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality and minimizing the need for repeated revisions.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and general video editing workflows.
  • Strong passion for video editing and a portfolio or background demonstrating editing experience.
  • Ability to respond effectively to creative feedback and continuously improve editing techniques.
  • Strong accountability, communication, time-management, and deadline-management skills.

Education
