About the Role
Utah Jazz Youth is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support and elevate the creative direction of its youth initiatives, including Junior Jazz, Jazz Bantam, Camps & Clinics, Combines, Kids Club, and other youth programs. This role focuses on building engaging brand systems, marketing campaigns, merchandise graphics, and promotional materials that connect with young athletes, families, and communities.
Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, this position requires a highly creative and detail-oriented professional who can deliver compelling visual storytelling across both digital and print platforms.

Job Overview
- Develop engaging digital and print-based creative assets for youth-focused sports programs.
- Execute branding systems and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, community relations, partnerships, and youth programming.
- Ensure brand consistency while contributing fresh, innovative ideas.
- Prepare production-ready files for various distribution channels.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce graphics for Junior Jazz, Jazz Bantam, Camps & Clinics, Combines, Kids Club, and additional initiatives.
- Conceptualize and execute event collateral, promotional materials, and merchandise graphics.
- Drive youth engagement through creative storytelling and sports marketing design.
- Maintain and evolve Utah Jazz Youth brand standards.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay current with design trends, youth culture, and emerging technologies.
- Organize and maintain creative assets and file systems.
- Support an inclusive, diverse, and team-first work culture.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- 2–4 years of applied design experience or equivalent professional portfolio.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding systems, typography, layout design, campaign development, and print production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS (Figma is a plus).
- Ability to work within brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage quick turnarounds.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required.
