Job Overview
ZS is seeking a skilled Video Editor – Motion Graphic Designer to join its Creative & Communications team in Pune. This role blends video editing, motion graphics, 2D animation, and design for video. The ideal candidate can independently manage projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring high-quality visuals and compelling storytelling.
This hybrid position combines remote flexibility with on-site collaboration at ZS offices and client locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro for internal, marketing, and client-facing content.
- Develop narratives through strong pacing, structure, and visual flow.
- Handle audio editing, cleanup, syncing, and basic mixing.
- Create motion graphics and 2D animations using Adobe After Effects.
- Animate titles, lower thirds, infographics, UI-style elements, and transitions.
- Design video-ready graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including icons, charts, and layouts.
- Prepare animation-ready design files with clean layer structures.
- Adapt visuals across multiple formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.).
- Maintain visual consistency and storytelling quality across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing and motion graphics.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of video storytelling and editing fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of motion design and 2D animation principles.
- Understanding of design principles for animated and on-screen content.
- Working knowledge of audio editing basics.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
- Client-first mindset, strong work ethic, and collaborative approach.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with AI video tools (generative video, AI cleanup, captions).
- Knowledge of Figma for video storyboarding.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve (editing, color, or audio).
- Basic knowledge of 3D tools such as Unreal Engine, Blender, or Cinema 4D.
- Understanding of color correction and grading fundamentals.
- Strong demo reel showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and designed video assets.
