Job Overview
Archer is seeking a Sr. Motion Graphics Designer to create high-quality motion and static visual content supporting aviation operations, marketing, training, and corporate communications. This senior-level position requires a strong storyteller with expertise in concepting, animation, editing, and brand execution.
This role is based in person at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose and Design Studio in Mountain View, CA, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver motion-first visual storytelling across Archer’s brand and marketing channels.
- Design and produce high-impact motion and static graphics for digital campaigns, social media, web, email, video, and out-of-home placements.
- Execute projects end-to-end, from concept development through animation, editing, and final delivery.
- Partner with the Design team to maintain brand standards and visual consistency.
- Maintain excellence in typography, layout, color, pacing, and visual systems.
- Collaborate with video, audio, and VFX contributors to produce cinematic, polished content.
- Support rapid-response static graphic design needs as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- 7+ years of experience in motion design and graphic design within brand or marketing environments.
- Strong portfolio and demo reel showcasing brand systems, campaigns, motion graphics, and video work.
- Expert-level skills in typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Proven ability to concept at a strategic level and execute with precision.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to elevate creative standards.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with 3D tools, simulation, or advanced motion capabilities.
- Background designing for large-scale out-of-home (OOH) or broadcast environments.
Compensation & Work Environment
- Competitive base salary range of $163,500 – $204,400 annually.
