Job Overview
Tripledot Games is looking for a skilled Senior Technical Artist to join its development team and contribute to one of the studio’s leading mobile titles. In this role, you will bridge the gap between art and engineering by implementing technical solutions that ensure optimal visual quality and performance within the Unity engine.
You will collaborate closely with artists, animators, and programmers to integrate art pipelines, create advanced visual effects, and optimize gameplay performance across multiple devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Unity layer that connects art and animation assets with the programming codebase.
- Develop new game features within Unity, including Unity UI elements following internal technical workflows.
- Write custom C# components to support complex visual elements and gameplay features.
- Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders for mobile game environments.
- Optimize both new and existing features to ensure smooth performance across various devices.
- Collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers to maintain visual quality and technical efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of the Unity engine, particularly Unity UI systems.
- Strong experience with different architectural approaches in game development.
- Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and scalable C# code.
- Experience using Git and following best practices in version control.
- Ability to create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders.
- Experience optimizing mobile games for smooth performance on various devices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams.
