Job Overview
ICON plc is seeking a skilled 3D VFX Artist to join its Marketing & Media team. In this role, you will create compelling 3D graphics, animations, and visual storytelling assets to support clinical trial communication and marketing initiatives.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex medical and scientific data into engaging visual content, including instructional videos, motion graphics, and interactive media.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D graphics, animations, and VFX for clinical trial materials and marketing content.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to align visuals with strategic goals.
- Design motion graphics, transitions, and visual storytelling elements.
- Translate complex medical and pharmacological data into clear visual representations.
- Work closely with pharmacologists and subject matter experts.
- Develop storyboards and produce engaging instructional videos.
- Implement client feedback and revisions to improve final outputs.
- Contribute to 3D modeling strategies and internal creative pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video reels, 3D work, and design projects.
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and animation (healthcare or pharma industry experience preferred).
- Strong skills in VFX, motion design, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in 3DS Max, TyFlow, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Understanding of social media formats, video specs, and audience engagement.
- Experience with AI-driven content creation tools is advantageous.
- Ability to manage projects independently from concept to completion.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, or a related discipline is required.
