Job Overview
The 2D Artist will play a key role in shaping visual content by combining illustration and graphic design expertise. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure visual assets align with creative direction, gameplay requirements, and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D artwork, concepts, and assets across multiple features
- Develop mood boards and gather visual references for concept exploration
- Produce high-fidelity concept designs and polished final visuals
- Apply strong illustration and graphic design principles
- Ensure artwork aligns with player expectations, platform requirements, and market trends
- Collaborate with art, design, and development teams
- Stay updated with industry design and illustration trends
- Maintain consistency and high visual quality across deliverables
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong skills in illustration and graphic design
- Solid understanding of layout, composition, colour, and typography
- Ability to follow and maintain established visual styles
- Understanding of research and reference gathering in design workflows
- Basic knowledge of design strategy (player needs, genre, platform)
- Intermediate-level artistic and technical proficiency
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
