About the Role

Roblox is seeking an experienced Brand Designer to join its APAC Growth Marketing team in Tokyo. This role focuses on creating high-quality, culturally relevant brand experiences that strengthen Roblox’s presence across multiple marketing channels throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

The successful candidate will work closely with marketers, agencies, and business stakeholders to develop compelling creative solutions that align with business objectives while maintaining Roblox’s global brand standards.

Job Overview

As a Brand Designer, you will manage the complete design process from concept development to final production. You will create impactful visual identities, marketing assets, and design systems while ensuring localization and cultural relevance for diverse APAC audiences, including Japan and Korea.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, exceptional design execution, stakeholder communication, and the ability to deliver multiple creative concepts within fast-paced marketing timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Development: Create compelling visual assets and marketing materials that strengthen and elevate the Roblox brand across APAC markets.
  • Design Execution: Manage projects from concept creation through production, ensuring high-quality and strategically aligned deliverables.
  • Cultural Localization: Review and refine creative assets to ensure cultural relevance, effectiveness, and appropriateness for regional audiences.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain visual identity systems that promote consistency across marketing campaigns and brand touchpoints.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with marketers, agencies, and cross-functional teams to align creative work with business goals.
  • Creative Leadership: Present design concepts confidently, provide feedback to team members, and help elevate overall creative quality.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external agencies and production partners to ensure successful execution and delivery of projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and exceptional execution.
  • Experience working within agencies, in-house brand teams, or a combination of both environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Google Slides, and Keynote.
  • Strong expertise in branding, typography, visual identity systems, and graphic design.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency required; Korean language skills are advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, Marketing Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio may be considered.
  • Additional education in branding, design strategy, or creative communications is beneficial.
