Job Overview
EA Create is seeking a talented Animator to contribute to the development of a AAA title. The role involves creating high-quality character performances that convey emotion, personality, and realism. You will collaborate closely with directors, animators, and technical teams to bring characters and gameplay to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality hand-keyed animations and motion capture-based performances
- Bring characters to life through expressive movement, emotion, and behavior
- Ensure animations align with creative direction and narrative goals
- Collaborate with animation directors, designers, and technical teams
- Apply feedback and deliver revisions efficiently while maintaining quality
- Maintain organized workflows and documentation for team collaboration
- Shoot reference videos when required to improve animation quality
- Participate in meetings, reviews, and production discussions
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional animation experience
- Proficiency in both facial and body animation
- Strong knowledge of Maya
- Understanding of human and animal movement, timing, and expressions
- Experience working within a motion capture pipeline
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for animation and storytelling
Education
Degree in Fine Arts, Computer Animation, or a related field.
