Job Overview

DEPT® is offering an exciting Intern UX Designer opportunity in the Netherlands as part of its Experience & Engineering team. This internship is designed to help aspiring UX professionals develop practical experience through mentorship, real-world projects, and collaboration with a team of 40+ designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand behavior and user needs.
  • Create user flows, user journeys, and information architecture.
  • Design wireframes and define intuitive user interactions.
  • Support usability testing and iterate on prototypes.
  • Present design concepts and UX logic to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with visual designers, developers, and strategists.
  • Work on projects for clients such as Inter Milan, UNICEF, Lufthansa, and more.
  • Contribute to thesis or graduation projects if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Passion for UX design and creating digital experiences.
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma.
  • Portfolio showcasing UX-related projects like research, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Experience with AI tools in design is a plus.
  • Proactive, curious, and driven mindset.
  • Fluent in Dutch and confident in English.

Education

You must be enrolled in a Dutch university for the entire internship duration.
