Job Overview

The Mid and Senior 3D Animators will be responsible for bringing characters to life through expressive and technically polished animation. This role focuses on enhancing storytelling, audience connection, and narrative impact while maintaining the creative and technical standards set by the Animation Director and production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality character animation, including facial performance, body mechanics, and lip sync.
  • Develop animated sequences for characters, objects, and cameras.
  • Produce animation blocking for review, then revise and polish to final delivery.
  • Interpret storyboards and creative briefs into engaging animated performances.
  • Collaborate with animation teams, supervisors, and directors to achieve the project vision.
  • Maintain creative and technical animation requirements for the project.
  • Apply feedback effectively from directors, supervisors, and lead animators.
  • Meet production schedules and shot deadlines consistently.
  • Troubleshoot and solve animation or workflow-related challenges quickly.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of production experience in 3D animated films and/or episodic animation.
  • Strong demo reel showcasing facial performance and body mechanics.
  • Experience with mature, stylized, and anime-inspired animation styles preferred.
  • 2D animation experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • Excellent narrative storytelling, comic timing, and emotive visual language skills.
  • Strong experience in character animation, lip sync, and key posing.
  • Solid proficiency in Autodesk Maya in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of animation workflows, character rigs, and storyboard interpretation.
  • Proficiency with keyframe animation fundamentals including posing, timing, and pacing.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of animation.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under supervision.
  • Flexible, responsive to change, and deadline-driven.
