Job Overview
The Motion Designer at Rain will define and shape the company’s motion language, creating engaging and high-quality animations across multiple brand touchpoints. Key Responsibilities
- Define and establish Rain’s motion design language and animation systems
- Create motion assets for product launches, campaigns, events, and social media
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to ensure cohesive design across touchpoints
- Develop storyboards, animations, templates, and final deliverables
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear visual storytelling
- Maintain consistency across brand visuals and motion systems
- Produce collateral, campaign assets, and branded materials
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional design experience (fintech or agency preferred)
- Expert proficiency in After Effects and Figma
- Experience with Lottie or similar animation tools (preferred)
- Strong understanding of typography, color, and layout in motion design
- Ability to visualize complex systems like payments infrastructure and APIs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of AI tools in design workflows
- Bonus: Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Motion Graphics, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
