About the Role
Scopely is seeking a talented UX Designer to join the Marvel Strike Force team. This fully remote opportunity offers the chance to design engaging player experiences for one of the gaming industry’s most successful live-service mobile titles while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Job Overview
The UX Designer will create intuitive and player-focused experiences by developing prototypes, conducting UX research, and collaborating with design, production, and analytics teams. This role plays a critical part in shaping user experiences that align with both player expectations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create UX Prototypes: Design and develop prototypes for internal reviews and external playtesting sessions.
- Drive User Experience: Contribute to the UX vision for Marvel Strike Force while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Leverage Research: Collaborate with player research teams to validate designs and gather actionable insights.
- Analyze Player Behavior: Use analytics data to identify opportunities for improvements and influence product direction.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with designers, producers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver engaging gameplay features.
- Align with Business Goals: Ensure all UX solutions support key performance indicators and player engagement objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of experience as a UX Designer, Video Game Designer, Graphic Designer, or related role.
- Experience designing UX for shipped mobile game titles, particularly live-service games.
- Proficiency with UX tools such as Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of UX deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Experience working with Unity and collaborating with distributed development teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline is required.
- Coursework or experience in UX design, interaction design, or game design is highly beneficial.
- Additional certifications in UX research or prototyping tools are advantageous.
