About the Role

Scopely is seeking a talented Senior 2D Game Artist (Generalist) to join the Bingo Bash team in Bengaluru on a hybrid basis. Job Overview

The Senior 2D Game Artist will create engaging visual assets across multiple game experiences, including backgrounds, icons, UI elements, and marketing artwork. You will collaborate closely with art, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional player experiences across mobile, web, and social gaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Diverse Assets: Produce high-quality backgrounds, icons, UI elements, and other visual assets for web and mobile games.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with artists, designers, and other departments to develop captivating player experiences and promotional materials.
  • Drive Production: Manage game art production across various asset types while ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Adopt New Technologies: Integrate evolving technologies, including AI-powered tools, into art production workflows.
  • Present Creative Solutions: Clearly communicate and justify artistic decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage Priorities: Stay organized and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in game art, design, production, or a related field.
  • Strong 2D artistic skills supported by a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating creativity and versatility.
  • Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, rendering, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience working within game production pipelines and asset optimization processes.
  • Familiarity with Unity or comparable game engines.
  • Strong awareness of gaming industry trends and player expectations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, Game Art, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in game art or digital content creation will also be considered.
  • Additional training in digital illustration, UI design, or interactive media is advantageous.
