About the Role

Electronic Arts, through its Playdemic studio, is seeking a talented 3D Artist to join the Live Ops team working on the highly successful mobile title Golf Clash. This opportunity allows artists to contribute high-quality in-game and promotional assets while collaborating with an experienced and supportive development team.

Job Overview

As a 3D Artist, you will work as a versatile generalist across multiple artistic disciplines, creating visually compelling assets that align with the established art direction of Golf Clash. You will collaborate with designers, programmers, and fellow artists to deliver polished content while continuously developing your artistic skills through mentoring and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create 3D Assets: Produce high-quality 3D assets, organic sculpts, and hard-surface models for in-game and promotional use.
  • Develop Original Concepts: Visualize and execute original ideas and designs while maintaining consistency with the game’s art style.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, engineering, and art teams to refine assets and achieve the highest visual quality.
  • Support Creative Development: Contribute sketches, concepts, and visual ideas during the ideation and pre-production stages.
  • Optimize Art Production: Create efficient UV layouts and production-ready assets suitable for mobile game development.
  • Maintain Artistic Excellence: Continuously push creative boundaries while adhering to project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience creating high-quality 3D assets for games or interactive media.
  • Strong proficiency with 3ds Max and experience using Photoshop, Procreate, or similar digital art software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in 3D modeling, UV layout creation, and asset production workflows.
  • Experience with ZBrush and Substance Designer/Painter.
  • Strong sketching and concept visualization abilities.
  • Passion for video games and collaborative game development processes.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Art, Digital Art, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience and an outstanding portfolio may substitute for formal education.
  • Additional training in 3D art, sculpting, or game asset creation is beneficial.
