Advanced Systems Group is seeking an experienced Senior Animator to create compelling visual content for promotional and branded media projects. Job Overview

The Senior Animator will lead the development of high-quality 2D animation and motion graphics for a wide range of audiovisual content. Working closely with designers, program managers, and post-production teams, you will help shape creative direction while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Animation Production: Create and deliver polished animations, motion graphics, and promotional content from concept through final delivery.
  • Creative Development: Design characters, scenes, backgrounds, storyboards, and shot lists to support engaging visual storytelling.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with designers, animators, program managers, and post-production leads to execute creative solutions.
  • Quality Optimization: Research, test, and implement techniques that maximize visual quality across different platforms.
  • Project Leadership: Manage multiple priorities, present work for feedback, and refine deliverables while meeting deadlines.
  • Workflow Improvement: Develop efficient animation processes and stay informed about emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating animation, illustration, and visual storytelling expertise.
  • Ability to establish and guide creative direction across multiple projects.
  • Experience managing deadlines, priorities, and stakeholder feedback in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in animation and motion graphics may be considered.
  • Training in visual storytelling, illustration, or digital media is beneficial.
  • Continued learning in animation software and creative technologies is valued.
