Advanced Systems Group is seeking a Studio Technician to support studio and on-location productions through technical expertise and hands-on equipment operation. This role offers the opportunity to work with professional production technology while contributing to high-quality media projects in a collaborative environment.

Job Overview

The Studio Technician will assist with camera, audio, lighting, graphics, and digital production systems while ensuring smooth execution of studio operations. Working closely with directors, production staff, and creative teams, you will help maintain equipment, support live productions, and contribute to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Operate cameras, audio systems, lighting equipment, graphics tools, and digital production technology during studio and location shoots.
  • Production Support: Collaborate with studio staff, directors, and production teams to coordinate technical requirements for projects.
  • Set Preparation: Assist with building, decorating, and maintaining sets while ensuring props and production materials are available.
  • Audio Assistance: Support sound recording operations and maintain professional audio equipment as part of production workflows.
  • Technical Coordination: Work with multiple departments to support digital media productions and ensure seamless execution.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, organize, store, and safeguard production equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a studio or technical production environment.
  • Experience operating professional camera, audio, visual, and lighting equipment.
  • Basic working knowledge of OBS.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven production environments.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree in Broadcasting, Media Production, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical training in studio production equipment is beneficial.
  • Experience in television, film, or post-production environments is advantageous.
