Job Overview

Twine is seeking a skilled 2D Animator to create a visually engaging six-minute animated story. This is a unique project-based opportunity with full remote flexibility and the potential for ongoing collaboration based on performance and creative fit.

The ideal candidate will have strong narrative-driven animation experience and the ability to manage the entire animation pipeline from concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute high-quality 2D animation for a six-minute story with smooth transitions and compelling storytelling
Collaborate closely to understand the narrative vision and translate it into engaging animation sequences
Design and animate characters, backgrounds, and key scenes based on the provided script
Manage the complete animation pipeline, including storyboarding, rough animation, clean-up, and compositing
Incorporate feedback efficiently and implement revisions to refine the final output
Deliver final animation assets in required formats within agreed timelines

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience in 2D animation with a strong portfolio showcasing narrative-driven projects
Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar software
Strong understanding of character animation, timing, and visual storytelling principles
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a remote setting
Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration and feedback integration
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional results
Availability for potential follow-up projects based on performance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
