Job Overview
FIN Studios is seeking a conceptual and innovative Senior Motion Designer to support the Studio Motion Design Director in leading high-quality motion design projects. This hybrid, full-time role requires deep expertise in both 2D and 3D animation, strong storytelling ability, and hands-on experience integrating Generative AI into production workflows.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled executor who can develop ideas from concept to polished final animation while collaborating across departments and managing multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts from initial brief through final execution
- Collaborate with the Studio Motion Design Director, production teams, and external partners
- Integrate Generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini Veo, Flow) into creative workflows where appropriate
- Pitch and execute innovative motion concepts across platforms
- Create expressive, brand-aligned 2D and 3D animations grounded in motion design fundamentals
- Iterate quickly through storyboarding and ideation based on feedback
- Partner with creative directors, designers, and producers to deliver polished final assets
- Provide constructive feedback and foster collaborative critique culture
- Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining creative quality
- Monitor emerging trends in motion design, AI, and interactive media
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a creative environment producing world-class motion content
- Strong contemporary portfolio and current reel required
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, and Redshift
- Experience with AI video generation and editing tools (e.g., Gemini Veo, Flow)
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-driven production workflows
- Strong conceptual thinking and ability to articulate creative rationale
- Ability to execute high-quality 2D and 3D motion design
- Deep knowledge of sports and popular culture
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and adaptable mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range of $90,000 – $125,000
