Job Overview

WPP Production is seeking a Senior Animator who excels at the intersection of storytelling, design, and emerging technology. This role focuses on delivering high-impact motion content across platforms including social media, digital out-of-home (DOOH), retail environments, media networks, and immersive experiences.

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Midtown Manhattan a minimum of three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visually compelling motion graphics for online advertising, retail, and out-of-home media
  • Edit video footage and integrate visual effects to enhance storytelling
  • Apply advanced compositing and motion design techniques
  • Collaborate with creative teams to troubleshoot technical and design challenges
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions
  • Drive innovation in workflow, tools, and creative capabilities
  • Stay current with motion design trends and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve production efficiency and creative velocity

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in motion graphics and interactive design
  • Strong portfolio or reel showcasing diverse motion and design capabilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Exceptional typography and design sensibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and creative execution
  • Effective communicator of creative and technical concepts
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in deadline-driven environments
  • Ability to work on-site in Midtown Manhattan at least three days per week

Nice to Have

  • Experience in 3D design and animation
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D or similar 3D software

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $100,000 – $230,000
