Role Overview

LIGANOVA HORIZON is seeking a talented 2D / 3D Motion Designer & Video Editor with a strong foundation in graphic design to join its creative team in London. This hybrid role offers flexibility while working across social-first content, digital campaigns, and large-scale out-of-home films.

You will collaborate with strategists, creatives, and producers to deliver impactful visual storytelling while elevating motion and film output quality across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling story-led films, 2D & 3D motion graphics, and social media assets
  • Deliver creative across digital campaigns, social channels, and out-of-home advertising
  • Contribute from ideation and creative exploration through to final delivery
  • Leverage AI-powered tools for ideation, pre-visualization, and asset creation where appropriate
  • Collaborate with strategists, creatives, producers, and client teams
  • Maintain brand consistency and act as a brand guardian
  • Lead projects when required and support team collaboration
  • Push innovation across 2D, 3D motion, and AI-assisted workflows
  • Share tools and techniques to promote continuous learning within the team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in motion design and video editing (social, digital, or broadcast)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating 2D & 3D motion design, storytelling, and editing expertise
  • Expert proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong foundation in graphic design principles including typography, layout, and composition
  • Understanding of cinematography, editing rhythm, timing, and filmmaking fundamentals
  • Experience with Cinema 4D and modern render engines such as Redshift or Octane
  • Strong 3D modeling skills, including building models from scratch
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work calmly under pressure
  • High attention to detail and experience working within brand guidelines
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required
