Job Overview

Entropico is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join its Los Angeles team. This role involves a balance of editing (60%) and post-production support (40%), collaborating closely with producers, editors, and cross-functional creative teams across LA and Sydney offices.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality edits with strong narrative, aesthetic, and technical execution.
Interpret scripts and creative briefs to deliver compelling video content.
Edit a variety of content including commercials, social media assets, and long-form videos.
Collaborate with producers, editors, motion designers, and sound teams.
Produce cut-downs, assemblies, and final polished edits.
Manage revisions and maintain high attention to detail.
Handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and milestones.
Ingest footage, create proxies, and sync audio/video.
Prepare projects for color grading, animation, and sound mixing.
Export, resize, and master final deliverables.
Maintain organized project files and support data archiving systems.
Ensure smooth workflow across internal teams and global offices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of video editing experience across multiple formats.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Strong understanding of offline-to-online workflows and post-production pipelines.
Experience handling various file formats, codecs, and camera sources.
Ability to assemble and revise edits efficiently.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
