Job Overview
StudioBinder is seeking a Motion Graphics Animator to join its Content & Editorial team. This role focuses on designing and animating engaging motion graphics that support educational video content and help explain filmmaking concepts in a clear and visually compelling way.
You will collaborate closely with editors, writers, and producers to create animations that enhance storytelling and maintain a consistent visual identity across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate motion graphics for educational videos and visual storytelling content.
- Create animated sequences, title graphics, and visual breakdowns of filmmaking concepts.
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and producers to align visuals with narrative goals.
- Develop reusable templates and visual systems for consistent branding.
- Enhance video clarity by visualizing complex ideas through animation.
- Review and refine animations based on feedback and iterative improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in motion graphics or animation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Solid design fundamentals including typography, layout, and color theory.
- Ability to communicate ideas effectively through visual storytelling.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of work.
- Interest in filmmaking, storytelling, or visual media.
- Familiarity with tools like Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Cinema 4D (preferred).
Education
A degree in Animation, Design, Film, or a related field is preferred but not required.
