Job Overview

Frida is seeking a Production Artist to join its Packaging Production team. This role focuses on creating print-ready packaging artwork, ensuring high-quality production standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver assets on time.

Key Responsibilities

Create accurate, print-ready packaging mechanicals aligned with brand guidelines
Support new product development, renovations, and international packaging pipelines
Prepare and release final artwork assets to vendors and business partners
Review proofs, color samples, and print outputs for quality and compliance
Collaborate with design, brand, product, and engineering teams
Ensure proper file organization, naming conventions, and asset archiving
Coordinate with printers and vendors to maintain production quality
Apply technical and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, FCC compliance)
Participate in production meetings and manage timelines effectively
Attend press checks and vendor visits as required

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in packaging production or mechanical artwork
Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Knowledge of printing techniques (lithography, flexography, screen print, digital)
Understanding of pre-press workflows, file optimization, and color management
Experience with proofing tools, RIP software, and color measurement systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
