Key Responsibilities

Design and create real-time visual effects for gameplay, characters, and environments.
Develop atmospherics, weather systems, and environmental effects using Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara.
Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to bring creative ideas to life.
Integrate and optimize VFX assets to ensure performance and visual quality.
Iterate on effects through feedback, critiques, and creative exploration.
Support gameplay communication through impactful visual storytelling.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of game development experience, including 2+ years as a VFX Artist.
Strong understanding of 3D graphics, shaders, particle systems, and physics.
Expertise in timing, motion, and visual impact of effects.
Ability to create VFX assets from scratch across different styles.
Proficiency with tools such as Maya, Substance, Photoshop, or equivalent.
Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara (preferred).
Knowledge of Houdini or similar simulation tools is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
