Job Overview

In this position, you will transform 2D references into high-quality 3D models with precise geometry, realistic proportions, and clean topology. You will work across multiple asset categories, including characters, environments, props, and machinery while collaborating in an iterative production pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Translate 2D reference images into accurate 3D models with strong volumetric fidelity.
  • Ensure proper geometry, proportions, and topology in all digital assets.
  • Source additional reference materials to resolve missing or unclear visual details.
  • Create hard surface assets such as vehicles, props, and machinery.
  • Develop organic models including realistic humans, digital doubles, animals, and plants.
  • Build environment and architectural assets such as landscapes, buildings, and world set pieces.
  • Iterate on assets based on feedback while maintaining project quality standards.
  • Communicate workflow, process, and problem-solving steps clearly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini, and 3ds Max.
  • Experience with texturing and UV workflows using tools like Substance Painter or Mari.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing hard surface, organic, and environmental assets.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, form, and material definition.
  • Ability to work in collaborative, feedback-driven production environments.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or a related discipline is preferred.
