Job Overview

As a Senior Environment Concept Artist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring game worlds to life. You will balance artistic vision with gameplay functionality while delivering visually striking and production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality concept designs for in-game environments including narrative scenes and combat areas.
Design environmental props and assets that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
Collaborate with narrative designers, storyboard artists, game designers, and level designers.
Ensure visual designs align with gameplay mechanics and technical constraints.
Develop atmospheric compositions using strong lighting, color, and composition techniques.
Maintain consistency with the overall art direction and project style.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in environment concept art.
Experience working on AAA narrative-driven games is a plus.
Proficiency in 3D modeling tools and strong hand-drawing skills.
Excellent sense of aesthetics, color theory, and environmental storytelling.
Ability to create mood, atmosphere, and visually engaging environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for video games and interactive storytelling.

Education

A degree in Fine Arts, Game Art, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio are highly valued.
