Job Overview

SciPlay is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Game Artist to join its Bangalore team in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will conceptualize and execute engaging in-game visuals from start to finish, collaborating with Art Leads, LiveOps managers, and cross-functional teams to enhance player experience and maintain visual consistency.

This position requires strong artistic fundamentals, technical proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced game development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, present, and execute creative ideas from A to Z with full ownership.
Collaborate with Art Leads, LiveOps managers, tech teams, and animators to deliver high-quality designs.
Create visually engaging and functional in-game promotional content.
Maintain a cohesive look and feel across different art styles and game features.
Ensure visual consistency while enhancing user experience.
Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic production environment.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in the gaming industry.
Strong digital portfolio showcasing relevant game art and design skills.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of composition, form, color theory, light, and shadow.
Experience using AI tools to create and enhance visual assets, including prompt iteration.
Knowledge of typography principles, including accessibility and logo creation.
Ability to create accurate concept sketches to communicate design ideas.
Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals.
Strong storytelling and conceptual thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and evolving project requirements.
