Role Overview
The Senior Digital Designer plays a pivotal role within Carnival’s in-house Creative Studio, shaping how millions of guests experience the brand across digital platforms. This role blends creativity, technology, UX best practices, and performance insights to deliver immersive, future-ready digital experiences.
The position is classified as in-office (hybrid), requiring on-site work in South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area) Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Design responsive, digital-first experiences for web, mobile, email, and social platforms
- Lead concept development for multi-channel campaigns incorporating motion and interactivity
- Translate performance insights and user behavior data into strategic design recommendations
- Leverage Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, AI-driven tools (e.g., Firefly, Midjourney), and no-code platforms (Webflow, Framer)
- Apply working knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end fundamentals to inform design feasibility
- Collaborate with copywriters, developers, and marketing leaders to ensure cohesive execution
- Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries
- Research trends in UX, accessibility, automation workflows, and AI-assisted development
- Present strategic creative recommendations to functional leaders
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Digital Media, or related field
- 5+ years of digital design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing responsive web, interactive, and multi-channel campaigns
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-driven design tools
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and no-code platforms (Webflow, Framer)
- Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards
- Experience integrating AI tools and emerging technologies into workflows
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Demonstrated experience using performance data to refine creative output
