Job Overview

Brex is looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join its Design team and help shape how the brand moves and communicates across every customer touchpoint. This role involves creating compelling product demos, UI animations, marketing campaigns, and educational videos that bring clarity and energy to the Brex platform.

You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Design teams to develop a consistent motion language that strengthens the Brex brand and improves storytelling across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, and produce polished product demos, launch videos, and promotional campaigns.
  • Create engaging motion design for product UI, brand systems, and marketing content.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Web, and Brand teams to ensure strategic and visually compelling storytelling.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent motion design language across platforms and channels.
  • Edit interviews, testimonials, and narrative-driven brand videos.
  • Guide best practices for video production, recording setups, and animation workflows.
  • Contribute creative feedback and help elevate overall design quality within the team.
  • Support a culture of design excellence, mentorship, and creative exploration.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in motion design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, UI motion, and brand animation.
  • Advanced skills with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Understanding of front-end animation tools such as Rive or Framer.
  • Strong sense of composition, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to translate complex product concepts into engaging visual stories.
  • Experience managing projects from concept to final delivery independently.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience directing vendors or freelance motion designers.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation or illustration.
  • Experience editing short-form social videos and promotional content.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered video and visual creation tools.
