Job Overview

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join its Brand & Creative team. This role blends high-end motion design craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI-driven production techniques. You will define and execute the visual motion language across brand campaigns, product storytelling, and marketing assets while building scalable, AI-enhanced creative workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality motion graphics for campaigns, product launches, social media, and executive presentations.
Develop and implement scalable animation systems using AI tools and automation workflows.
Define and evolve the company’s motion design language and brand identity.
Collaborate with product designers to translate UI/UX designs into polished motion assets.
Research and experiment with emerging creative technologies and AI tools.
Build reusable motion templates, assets, and libraries to improve production efficiency.
Translate complex business concepts into compelling visual narratives.
Present new tools, workflows, and creative approaches to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or related fields.
Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, timing, typography, and animation expertise.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with product animation, especially SaaS and UI systems.
Familiarity with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender (Houdini is a plus).
Experience working with Figma and collaborating with product design teams.
Hands-on experience with AI tools like Stable Diffusion, Runway, ComfyUI, or Midjourney.
Ability to build automated workflows, templates, and scalable design systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-evolving tech environments.
