Role Overview

G5 Games is seeking a talented and experienced 2D UI Artist to join its ART Team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to design and optimize user interfaces for globally recognized mobile games.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in UI design for game applications, a deep understanding of visual hierarchy and typography, and a passion for crafting intuitive and visually compelling interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop UI concepts and create final interface designs for mobile games
  • Redesign and optimize existing UI screens to enhance usability and visual appeal
  • Prepare and optimize graphical assets for seamless in-game integration
  • Collaborate with developers and game designers to design and implement new features
  • Create, maintain, and update UI documentation and UI kits

Qualifications

Required

  • Professional proficiency in Figma and Adobe Photoshop
  • Minimum 3 years of experience designing interfaces for game applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D UI design for games
  • Excellent understanding of composition, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback within a collaborative team environment
  • High adaptability and ability to switch between tasks efficiently
  • Upper Intermediate level of Russian language proficiency

  • Experience using AI tools in design workflows
  • Basic knowledge of animation principles
  • Understanding of global mobile gaming market trends and graphic design best practices
